Q - question

Cannot multi-select polyline vertices above a raster image.

A - answer You cannot perform a multiple selection (with Shift) of vertices (grips) on polylines, e.g. isolines, displayed on top of an attached background raster image in AutoCAD Map 3D, Civil 3D and in Raster Design. Similarly you also cannot unselect objects from a selection set.

This is caused by a conflict with the raster image selection method using Shift-click inside an image. So disable this extended image selection with the MAPIOPTIONS command -on the General tab, uncheck the option "Shift + Left Click Image Select".
