Error: Key not valid for use in specified state
A - answer The error message (dialog) "Key not valid for use in specified state" ("Schlüssel ist im angegebenen Status nicht gültig") may appear when installing a new software application, its service pack or hotfix.

This is a message from the Windows cryptographic system. Try to temporarily rename the folder (it is set as Hidden; Windows recreates a new one)):

c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA

and retry the installation.
