Q - question

How to add additional libraries to Revit?

A - answer In older Revit versions, the standard content libraries (families) for individual countries and regions were downloaded separately on the Revit download page. In versions 2013 and 2014, you can download national RFA families automatically during the first-time installation or later installation. Just check the requested content languages/countries:

If you want to add content packs to an already installed Revit version, run "Uninstall/Change" on your Revit version from the Windows Control Panels (Programs and features), choose "Add or Remove Features" in the installation dialog and in the step "Add or Remove Content" checkmark the requested national libraries or use the "Add content" button to choose a preset XML file describing the content to download. The Next button will then download (takes some time!) and install the library or libraries.
