Q - question

How to export DXF outline of unfolded sheetmetal in Fusion 360, with no bending lines.

A - answer Two methods of exporting a DXF file with pure outline of a sheetmetal flat pattern shape, without any bending lines or other geometry (e.g. for laser or plasma cutter) - see the video describing Fusion 360 on CAD Studio's YouTube channel.

One of the options is projecting the unfold shape to a new sketch. The second option is to re-import the exported DXF file, switch off the unwanted layers and then re-export this simplified shape to a simplified plain DXF file.
