Q - question

How to get and install a localization for Revit 2013?

A - answer Revit localizations (German, French, Spanish, Russian, Czech, etc.) in a form of additional "Language Packs" (LP), one of the new features in version 2013, work differently than with other Autodesk products (see the Tip 8580).

You cannot install this LP and an add-on installation, you can only include it in the product installation. Another option is to download and install the full localized version of Revit 2013 (or the respective Building Design Suite 2013).

Steps to install LP:

  1. download the requested language pack from your Subscription center, from the Download section. Language packs are available for Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Revit Structure and Revit 2013 ("all-in-one")

  2. Unpack the saved file
  3. Run the Revit installation and in the list box Product Language choose Add Language Pack...
  4. Select the appropriate *.msi file (they differ between 32-bit and 64-bit systems)

  5. Complete the installation
