Q - question

How to limit the number of consumed licenses for a user group?

A - answer In the Autodesk FlexLM network license management, you can specify that a given group of users or machines can consume only a given, limited number of floating licenses.

In the FlexLM option file ADSKFLEX.OPT for the license manager, enter e.g.:

MAX 5 86063ACD_2014_0F GROUP Nerds
Means, that the predefined group "Nerds" may not consume more than 5 network licenses of AutoCAD 2014.
