Q - question

How to order Inventor appearances alphabetically?

A - answer When I create a new material appearance, Inventor puts it almost to the end of the pull-down menu.

Name your custom appearances with initial uppercase character, similarly to the default Inventor library appearances - so e.g.:

"Copper polished"

Then your colors will be properly sorted - the name ordering is "case sensitive".
