Q - question

How to suppress blueish highlight of selected objects?

A - answer The visual effect of blue "glowing" highlight of selected objects (lines or areas), is controlled by the variable SELECTIONEFFECT. This effect can be disabled (switched off) by setting this variable to 0. You can control the highlight color with SELECTIONEFFECTCOLOR.

For object pre-selection (hover), use the variable PRESELECTIONEFFECT.

In higher versions, see also the variable HIGHLIGHT.
