Q - question

How to switch off the "graph paper" in the AutoCAD drawing window?

A - answer The "graph paper" raster grid is a new way of displaying the auxiliar background grid in 2D viewports in AutoCAD 2011. You can switch it off by the standard grid toggle key [F7] (or wit the GRIDMODE variable).

The method of grid display (lines/dots) is controlled by the GRIDSTYLE variable - you can use it to switch the line grid back to the legacy dot grid.
