Question CAD

Q - question

Invalid number or bad continuation - when creating a linetype.

A - answer This error message means that your .LIN file with linetype definitions is not in the proper format (e.g. a non-ASCII Unicode file, a Word file, the first line of a definition does not start with "*LinetypeName", etc.), or you are trying to create a complex linetype directly through the -LINETYPE command.

Always use a plain text editor (Notepad, TextEdit) to create your custom .LIN files.
