Q - question

Inventor error: "Selected heap had too little room (5 < 8+4)"

A - answer The reason of this error is insufficient memory.

"Heap", a programming term, is a method of dynamic memory allocation. Inventor has asked for more memory (at some atypical point, not handled by a better error message) and your operating system refused this memory request. Besides RAM expansion, you can try to increase your virtual memory, clear any concurrently running applications, or restart your workstation.
