Overview of TIFF file types supported in Revit.

A - answer Autodesk Revit supports inserting of images into projects in multiple image file formats - BMP, JPG, PNG, TIF. In case of the TIFF file format, it supports only some compression methods and file subtypes.

The table of TIFF types readable in Revit 2013 and Revit LT 2013:
