Q - question

Publishing DWF/DWFx files from any Windows application.

A - answer Using the Windows print driver "DWF Writer" you can generate files in the CAD publishing format DWF and DWFx from any Windows application.

The free "pseudo-printer" driver Autodesk DWF Writer for Windows 2000, WinXP, Vista and Windows 7 (in 32-bit or 64-bit version) can be downloaded from Download.

The 2D DWF print settings allow to set resolution (dpi), color depth, output media format, file location and other parameters for writing out the DWF file. You can also directly display the resulting .dwf or .dwfx file in the free Autodesk Design Review viewer.

Please use the internal, native functions to publish DWF files from Autodesk software - these functions provide wider options and higher quality of the output.
