Q - question

How to capture an image from Inventor in a higher resolution to insert it in Word?

A - answer You can increase the resolution of your BMP or TIFF raster files. In the "Save Copy As" dialog choose "Options" and increase the X: value. So you can get hi-res images for DTP or printed materials.

Another way (for IDWs) is to make a DWF file and then use an OLE container (e.g. Autodesk View Express, Design Review) to embed the DWF file in your Word document.
