Q - question

Splitting the enterprise (fixed) and user (customizable) part of AutoCAD menu.

A - answer In AutoCAD 2006 and higher you can split menus (and toolbars, shortcuts) into a fixed (non-customizable) and a user (easily customizable) part.

For this you can use the "enterprise" CUI file (shared on your company network) and the standard user CUI menu file, combined with the ENTERPRISEMENU variable.

More details can be found in AutoCAD help - see the link to AutoCAD 2006 help (if you have it installed).
