What for is the Autodesk Raster Design Object Enabler?
A - answer Similary to the other "object enablers", Raster Design OE enables the custom objects from the Raster Design add-on application even in CAD applications where AutoCAD Raster Design (ARD) is not installed.

ARD Enabler can be used for DWG drawings (saved in Raster Design) containing DEM elevation models, multispectral data sets and 16-bit TIFF data. It also adds support for additional raster formats to your CAD application (AutoCAD).
