Q - question

How to create terrain profile in Map 3D?

A - answer Autodesk Map 3D (unlike Civil 3D) doesn't support terrain 3D profiles (DTM sections) by default.

Use Autodesk Civil 3D or XANADU's add-on utility - Map3Dprof (see www.cadstudio.cz/map3dprof).
