Q - question

Trim lines to blocks.

A - answer If you need to use a block (entities inside a block reference) as a boundary to trim (or extend) other lines in a drawing, use the BTRIM (or BEXTEND) command from Express Tools.

Beside blocks you can also use boundaries defined by line entities nested in Xrefs.
