Q - question

How to find localized name of an AutoCAD command?

A - answer ... or how to get the french, spanish, german, italian, portugese, chinese, korean, japanese, polish, hungarian, russian translation of an english AutoCAD command?

You can try the online AutoCAD Command translator on this web.

You can also use (getcname [command]) 'translating' LISP function.

E.g. (getcname "_SELECT") returns "VYBER" in the Czech version of AutoCAD. And vice versa - (getcname "VYBER") in CZ version returns "_SELECT", or (getcname "KREIS") in the German version returns "_CIRCLE".

And similarly, you can use the GETCNAME Lisp utility (see Download) - it uses Ajax web functions to list AutoCAD command name in all major European languages - try e.g. GETCNAME _CIRCLE or GETCNAME KREIS.
