Rendering water surface in Revit.

A - answer The default material library in Revit Architecture contains a parametric material of the type Water. You can use it to create photorealistic renderings of various types of water surfaces.

This material offers individual water types (sources) like Swimming pool, River, Lake, Ocean. For these you can choose water color hues - tropical, green, brown and set the height of waves.

For flowing water and other animation effects you can try e.g. the application Sqirlz Water Reflections [URL verified 6/2011]
