Q - question

Revit support for older versions of the IFC format.

A - answer Always use the latest version of the IFC neutral format to exchange BIM data. Use the highest available version of the IFC standard (currently IFC4 or IFC2x3).

Revit does not support export nor import of older versions of the IFC format - IFC2.0 (import is still available), IFC1.5.1, IFC1.5 and IFC1.0.

Perform update of the cooperating BIM tool so that you can use the current IFC standard to exchange BIM data.
