What does the padlock icon mean on the DWG tab in AutoCAD?

A - answer On the DWG drawing switch tabs, a padlock icon is displayed next to the drawing name at some drawings. Why?

The padlock icon on the AutoCAD document (drawing) tab indicates that the .DWG file in the given tab is opened in the "read-only" mode.
