Q - question

What is the Autodesk Screencast Group?

A - answer I have received an e-mailové invitation to a "Screencast Group" - what is it?

When you publish a videorecording from an Autodesk CAD product, you can specify - directly in the Autodesk Screencast application or on the Autodesk Screencast web site - who for will be your video available. You can choose from a public access ("Anyone"), link-only access ("Only people with the link"), or access only for invited individuals ("Only people I choose"). These invitations were originally available only through Autodesk ID, by specifying a list of invited persons.

Now you can also use groups. The option "Only people I choose" allows to specify a list of persons (their Autodesk ID or e-mail addresses), or a list of person groups, which will be able to view your video. You can manage your groups directly from the invitation dialog in a new screencast video, or on the private video tab (in your user profile - Contributions, My Dashboard, My Private Screencasts) through the link "Manage access". Use the "Add Groups" panel and in it the "MANAGE GROUPS" button.

After you invite a user to a defined group, he/she will receive the above mentioned invitation e-mail.
