XLS2Curve - draws a curve from Excel coordinates
Curve2XLS - exports curve coordinates to Excel
------------------------------------------------
(C)2025 ARKANCE CZ - www.arkance.world

Xls2Curve utility (command) reads a list (table)
of X-Y or X-Y-Z coordinates from the active XLS
sheet and draws a polyline, spline, points or
blocks in the specified points.

The list of coordinates should be selected
(highlighted) in the Excel application.

Usage:
Load Xls2Curve.vlx using _APPLOAD, start it with
the XLS2CURVE command. Your point list should be
already opened in Excel and the required columns
and rows should be selected (a contiguous region).
The XLS2CURVE command reads the selected region
(or the A+B columns if no region selected in the
active Excel sheet) and transfers the coordinates
into AutoCAD.
You can use the coordinates to draw Points, 2D or
3D Polyline, Spline or block Inserts. If you select
3 columns, 3D entities will be drawn.

The attached sample XLS2Curve.XLS file contains
X-Y coordinates of a Lemniscate curve.

Ver 1.5 addition (6/2025):
Changed to freeware
Ver 1.4 addition (8/2014):
Allow mix of 32/64-bit versions of AutoCAD/MS-Office
Ver 1.3 addition (7/2012):
Fixed point export in Curve2XLS, support for local UCS
Ver 1.2 (cosmetic fixes)
Ver 1.1 addition (3/2010):
The additional Curve2XLS command works in the
opposite way - it exports coordinates of the
selected curves (or other objects) to the current
Excel workbook (starting with the selected cell).
3D polylines, blocks and splines are exported as
3D coordinates (3 columns: X-Y-Z).

Any Excel (MS Office) version should work. If the
import command opens an empty Excel, close all other
Excel instances and open your table in the empty
Excel application instance.
