Q - question

3D PDF output from AutoCAD, Inventor or Revit.

A - answer There are several ways how to publish 3D PDF files from Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit or other CAD applications.

The easiest and cheapest one is the application Share3D by Quadrispace. This tool is available as an Inventor add-on (plugin), or you can use its direct support (import) of AutoCAD DWG models, Inventor IPT parts, IAM assemblies and 3D DWF models from Revit or other CAD applications. From all these models you can create appealing interactive 3D PDF files viewable in any Adobe PDF Reader (version 9 and higher).

See a sample Inventor model (3D PDF, 1.7MB) and Revit BIM model (3D PDF, 2.1MB) - both created in the trial version of Share3D.
