3D-scan formats supported by the ReCap tool in AutoCAD 2014.

A - answer Autodesk ReCap (reality capture) tool is included in AutoCAD 2014 and in other applications of the 2014 family (and higher). ReCap processes (indexes) large point clouds from 3D laser scanning for attaching and displaying in AutoCAD (RCS/RCP).

The ReCap tool supports the following data formats:

  • Autodesk ReCap (*.rcs)
  • FLS Faro (*.fls)
  • FWS Faro (*.fws)
  • Faro projects (*.lsproj)
  • PTG Leica (*.ptg)
  • PTS Leica (*.pts)
  • PTX Leica (*.ptx)

  • ZFPRJ Zoller&Frohlich (*.zfprj)
