Q - question

A table with calculated expressions is suddenly dead, doesn't calculate and update.

A - answer A table in an AutoCAD DWG drawing has some of its cells set as expressions - multiplying and adding values from other cells. But suddenly it is dead, the calculated values stopped to update.

Either set the cell expressions again (e.g. by deleting the leading "=", finishing edits and then reinserting "="), or automate reviving of such dead table and its text fields using the freeware utility by CAD Studio - UpdateTable.

Download the file UpdateTable.dll (see Download), load it into your AutoCAD with NETLOAD and type the command UPDATETABLE. Select the table and it gets resurrected as a whole.
