Q - question

Add a number to an attribute in all blocks.

A - answer If you need to globally change values of a given attribute in all blocks (references, occurrences) of your DWG drawing, you can use the free LISP utility CADstudio AttAdd.

The AttAdd command prompts to select the edited attribute (pick it) and to enter the numerical value which will be added to, or subtracted from the existing values of the specified attribute in the selected blocks. You can work with both integers and real numbers. Only the purely numerical attributes will be changed.

Similarly, the AttApp command of the same utility will append a suffix to the values of specified attribute in all selected blocks.

You can download the AttAdd application from Download

For more advanced operations with block attribute values you can use Excellink.
