Change the value of a name-selected attribute.

A - answer With the AutoCAD command -ATTEDIT you can modify the value of any block attribute even in a script or macro - both the block and the attribute are selected by name:
Command: -ATTEDIT
Edit attributes one at a time? [Yes/No] : N
Performing global editing of attribute values.
Edit only attributes visible on screen? [Yes/No] : N
Drawing must be regenerated afterwards.
Enter block name specification <*>: MYBLOCK
Enter attribute tag specification <*>: MYATTR
Enter attribute value specification <*>:
1 attributes selected.
Enter string to change:
Enter new string: MYNEWTEXT
