AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Civil 3D, 3ds Max, Fusion 360, PowerMill and other Autodesk products in versions 2022, 2021 and 2020 are compatible with Windows 10, and most users don't have major problems using them also in Windows 11 (with the exception of minor graphical flaws in menu).
However, only higher versions of Autodesk products (since 2023, except Netfabb) offer an official Win11 compatibility, together with these named applications and versions - for which Autodesk guarantees full support and seamless operation in Windows 11, with no compatibility flaws:
- Autodesk AutoCAD (incl. the "specialized toolset" versions) 2023, 2022 and 2021 with the latest updates and hotfixes installed
- Autodesk Revit 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019 with the latest updates and hotfixes installed - 2022.1.1, 2021.1.5, 2020.2.6, 2019.2.4 (i.e. at least from November 2021 or later)
- Autodesk Fusion 360 (build V.2.0.11680 or later)
- + all Autodesk 2023 (and higher) products, except Netfabb 2023
Older versions like 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 or even older are NOT compatible with Windows 11 and usually cause major problems, including application crashes, e.g. only after some update of this OS.
There are reported problems after Windows 11 updates in Civil 3D 2022 and in older versions of 3ds Max (2020) - after the Win11 22H2 update. These are not officially compatible and these combinations of older versions with Win11 are not recommended.
