Q - question

Differential dimension X,Y

A - answer To dimension the difference between the X- and Y-coordinate components of two points, indicating the positive (+) or negative (-) value of the difference, you can use a simple differential dimensioning utility in AutoLISP.

Download the DIMDIFF.LSP file from Download, load it into your AutoCAD using APPLOAD. Type the DIMDIFF command and pick both dimensioned points (positions). A (non-associative) dimension with the coordinate component differences is drawn.
