Disable dynamic previews when changing object properties.
A - answer If you want to disable (suppress) dynamic previews (in-canvas) when changing drawing object properties from the ribbon or Properties palette, switch off the variable PROPERTYPREVIEW.

This variable influences also the switching of visibility states in the block editor (BEDIT).
