Q - question

Edge symbol on Inventor drawings.

A - answer The technical standard EN ISO 13715 specifies the annotation and dimensioning of edges of indeterminate shapes on technical drawings. You can add edge symbols compliant with this standard in Inventor using a simple application from Autodesk Apps - see Edge Symbol.

Once installed, you will find this annotation symbol in the Annotation > Symbols > Symbols menu:

Use named presets to save frequently used variations of inner and outer edge symbols on Inventor drawings.
