On an attempt to activate your Autodesk product from the 2010 family, only an empty window (blank dialog, screen) is displayed with two radio buttons. A similar problem may appear with "My Home" in Inventor 2015.
If your activation fails on a 64-bit Windows OS, use the hotfix Download
The following tips apply also for version 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and higher:
Check also your antivirus tools and your Windows security settings. Check also the ActiveX scripting control in your Internet Explorer security settings.
It could be caused also by a Windows scripting problem. Use RegEdit to set the Registry values:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0
change the key "1400" to 0.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0
change the key "1400" to 0.
Try to edit the RTBeginReg.html file in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdLM\R{1-7}\en-US\Webdepot folder - add the following line of below the html line:
<!-- saved from url=(0016)http://localhost -->
If this won't help, re-register the DLL files of the scripting engine. In a DOS window (as an Administrator), perform:
CD C:\Windows\System32 (in a 64-bit OS: CD C:\Windows\SysWow64)
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
Restart the Autodesk application.
If you use Internet Explorer 10 (Win8), try to disable and enable MSIE10 in your system - in Windows Control Panels go to Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off. Uncheck the item "Internet Explorer 10", end the dialog with OK and restart Windows. Similarly re-enable the MSIE10 feature and again restart Windows. Re-run your CAD application.
As a last resort solution, downgrade your Internet Explorer 10 to version 9 or lower.
