Error 2337 while installing a CAD application.

A - answer Your AutoCAD or Inventor installation fails with: "Internal Error 2337".

This error is caused by a problem in Windows system components - the problem is typically caused by:

  • Installation attempt on an unsupported operating system
  • Improper installation procedure (e.g. using .MSI instead of SETUP.EXE)
  • Unsupported type of network installation over group policy (GPO)
  • Corrupted installation of .NET Framework
  • Corrupted Windows Installer service
  • Damaged installation media, or the downloaded distribution archive
Before the installation, update your operating system (via Windows Update), install the latest version of .NET Framework (see e.g. www.cadstudio.cz/download and restart the installation with SETUP.EXE.
