Q - question

Export text from DWG drawings to Excel.

A - answer Using the free AutoLISP utility CADstudio Click2XLS with its added command Text2XLS you can easily transfer picked AutoCAD drawing texts to a MS Excel sheet (automatically created or pre-prepared). All types of drawing text objects are supported - single-line and paragraph texts, block attributes (incl. nested), attribute definitions, dimensions, leaders, tables (except table cells written in TrueType fonts). If MText texts are formatted, Excel will receive cleaned up, pure text.

The "Paragraph" mode will write clicked MText paragraphs to individual cells.
