GeoCode with what3words location codes.

The freeware add-on application CADstudio GeoCode for AutoCAD (2014 and higher) performs not only plain "reverse geocoding" (postal street address of a given point location) but it also supports the "what3words" service - and it unique 3-word code representing each location on the Earth. A combination of three English words as an universal address is easier to remember and points to a specific 3x3m square anywhere in the world.

You only need to position your DWG drawing (map) to the real world location using the command GEOGRAPHICLOCATION, i.e. with Live Maps.

Download www.cadstudio.cz/download, load the GeoCode.vlx file with APPLOAD and run the GEOCODEW3 command. After each clicked point on the map, its surrealistic what3words code is displayed - e.g. "police.mulled.otters".

See What3Words.com. Use the command variants GEOCODEW3 and GEOCODEAW3 (forward geocoding - what3words code to a lat-long location XY). The LISP function (example):

(revgeocodeLLW3 '(48.9669 14.4768))

evaluates to:

"purses.casually.question"

or e.g. to:

"fügt.fazit.flüsse"

if you have previously set the coding language to German with:

(setq w3wlang "de")
