Get name of the original Revit BIM model from DWG files in AutoCAD.

DWG files exported from Revit as drawing sheets contain internal information about the original BIM model (RVT project).

If you want to retrieve and display this information in AutoCAD, you can use a simple freeware LISP utility BuildingID. Download the VLX file Download, load it into AutoCAD with APPLOAD and type the command BUILDINGID. This will show the name of the original source BIM project and possible other information stored in the current DWG drawing originating in Revit.
