How not lose edited DWG drawing even when closed without saving.

It has probably happened to you that you accidentally not saved your extensive edits in an AutoCAD drawing (you answered "No" on the "Save changes?" prompt), or you accidentally quitted a new drawing, or a disk or network error occurred during saving of your drawing (in these situations neither the built-in AutoSave/SV$ nor BAK backup files will help).

In all these cases you could be rescued by the CADstudio utility SureSave (see Download).

This LISP reactor stores a copy of the edited (changed) drawing on every save and every close of the DWG document (irrelevant if you answer Yes or No), on every N commands, and it also retains the AutoSave time-backup files. You can set the backup folder for with copies of the drawing (e.g. a SSD disk) and you can bulk delete old backups.

If necessary, you can easily restore the backup (copy) of the saved drawing. This application works automatically and does not affect the normal behavior of AutoCAD.
