Q - question

How to add contour labels to Civil 3D terrain models.

A - answer To add contour labels in AutoCAD Civil3D, use the command AddContourLabeling (multiple contrours, by drawing a line across the whole surface), or AeccAddContourLabelingSingle (single label, on a contour point), or AeccAddContourLabelingGroup (in an interval).

See Surfaces > Add surface labels > Contours, resp. in higher versions the ribbon Annotations > Labels & Tables > Surfaces > Contours.

Labels are drawn in the current contour label style (text height, format, color, layer...). You can also subsequently change the style with Setting in the Workspace palette.
