Q - question

How to attach dimensions to a 3D model in Inventor?

A - answer You can add any 2D or 3D dimensions to a 2D or 3D view in Inventor.

Create a 3D view (e.g. isometric, rendered) on your drawing sheet. Go to the Annotation panel/ribbon and start the Dimension command. You can pick any geometry or points to add linear, angular or radius dimensions to your part or assembly model.
