How to add your own chain type to the roller chain generator?

The chain configuration files for Inventor Roller Chain Generator are located in the folder "Design Data" - e.g.:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2016\Design Data\Design Accelerator\Tables\Chains\RollerChains

Here you can place your new XML files defining chains or edit existing .xml files - e.g. with Notepad. Always backup the old files.

You may need to edit also the files RChains.xml and RChainsMap.xml in the folder Chains to load your new chain configuration file properly. These files are also located in the above mentioned path.
