Q - question

How to block specific AutoCAD commands?

A - answer To deny user access to specific AutoCAD commands, you can use the internal mechanism of the UNDEFINE command. But even these "undefined" (blocked) commands can be invoked using the dot prefix notation - e.g. .CIRCLE.

An alternative method of command blocking is the Undef2 reactor. This freeware utility by CAD Studio can be downloaded from Download. Load it with APPLOAD. The command UNDEF2 can be then used to control the reactor and to define the list of blocked (denied) and re-enabled (redefined) commands - use their English/international names for this list. The list is stored in the Registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CAD Studio\Undef2.

The reactor blocks commands in a different way then UNDEFINE - the blocked command is still available, but it is automatically cancelled immediately after it is launched.
