Q - question

How to disable the Connected Design function (blue icon)?
A - answer If you want to completely disable (turn off) the function "Connected Design" in Inventor 2016 R3 including its blue hexagon "share" button, unload the add-in module "Connected Design on A360" in the Add-in Manager list (the option "Load automatically") - see the ribbon Tools > Options > Add-ins.

If you want to just disable (close) the panel "Connected Design", close it with the top right cross icon.
