Q - question

How to draw bearings in AutoCAD?

A - answer You can enter bearings data in any AutoCAD version. Specialized AutoCAD versions like AutoCAD Map and AutoCAD Civil 3D offer also other methods for bearings, coordinate entry and COGO.

You can use bearings format to enter angle data in standard AutoCAD relative coordinates data entry. So e.g. to draw a line 123' long, with the bearing S12°34'56"E, use:

@123<S12d34'56"E
You can enter this on any AutoCAD prompt expecting coordinate entry (Next point:, Pick point:, etc.).
