Q - question

How to export BOM with all assembly levels from Inventor?

A - answer When trying to export an assembly BOM (Manage > Parts List), Inventor does not allow to process the whole structure, all levels of the BOM - the option is grayed out.

You will need to enable the proper view properties for your structured BOM. The default view of the structured BOM (simplified to the first level for performance reasons):

In the context menu of the Structure tab or in the top toolbar choose "View properties":

And in the dialog "Structured Properties" switch the Level to "All Levels". Select the delimiter for BOM levels.

Then the "Export Bill of Materials" function offers the option "Export all levels" (not only "First level children"):

Similarly you can influence the parts list in the drawing environment.
