How to influence linetype scale or color for hidden edges in documentation views?

Invisible (hidden) 3D-object edges in projected views generated by the command VIEWBASE are displayed as dashed lines by default. How to change linetype scale (size of dashes/spaces), color or lineweight for this type of edges in AutoCAD drawing views?

Hidden edges are defined by lines placed in the layer MD_Hidden (the name is localized). You can define any linetype (e.g. dotted, double-dashed), any color, weight or transparency for this layer. If you want to change just the linetype scale, use the standard global setting LTSCALE. After you change this scale, you may need to update the view - e.g. by its temporary change (Modify View in the context ribbon) to a fully shaded type ("Shaded with Visible Lines") and then back to the type "Hidden Lines".

Other elements of drawing views

Visible edges are generated in the layer MD_Visible, invisible tangent and thread edges and intersection edges are generated in the layer MD_Hidden Narrow, while visible counterparts of these elements are in MD_Visible Narrow. Annotations are placed in the layer MD_Annotation, section hatches in the layer MD_Hatching. All names are localized in non-EN versions of AutoCAD. You can also predefine these view layers including their properties in your DWG template.
