How to model a true 3D thread in Fusion 360?
A - answer The application Autodesk Fusion 360 can create not only a visual representation of a thread but also a true 3D thread model, which can be used e.g. for 3D printing.

When creating the thread (command Create > Thread) you need to check the "Modeled" option in the THREAD dialog.

This will create a true 3D thread with specified size, class and orientation on the selected object or face.

Similarly you can later use the "EDIT THREAD" dialog (palette) to change the thread properties - modeled/displayed.
