Q - question

How to quickly rotate the view by 90° in AutoCAD LT?

A - answer In the full AutoCAD, you can use the arrows next to the "house" icon to quickly rotate the current view (plan view). However, this tool is missing in AutoCAD LT.

In AutoCAD LT, you can easily rotate a viewport in the paperspace - see the viewport context menu, Rotate.

Another option that also works in the model space is to add a simple macro to your UI (see CUI) - e.g. under a new ribbon icon or on a keyboard shortcut:

UCSFOLLOW;1;_UCS;_Z;90d;

Calling this macro will always rotate the UCS and the DWG view (model shot) by 90° to the right.
