How to set AutoCAD background to black on white?

A - answer Run the Options dialog (scarlet "A" > Options; or the command +OPTIONS 1) and using Display > Colors set the requested color combination of the window background, cursor and other graphical components of the UI for the selected display mode (2D, 3D, model, layout...).

The setting will be stored (remembered) between sessions.
